Consultant. Learner. Educator. Writer.
I love consulting because, done right, it is pure problem solving. I thrive working in contexts which are murky, ambiguous, undefined, and never the same twice. I find joy in bringing clarity and resolution with few resources and, often, even less time. It can be hard to pin down what exactly consultants do day to day, but for me it is simple: on bad days, I keep the wheels on the bus, but on good days I get to steer. Consulting requires me to be good at my favorite things: learning, reading the room, thinking critically, and writing to share knowledge with others.

A Short Bio
I am a country kid who grew up and became addicted to city life. I spent a few years living, traveling, and teaching abroad. After a few more years of teaching back in the states, I began to feel like it was time for a new challenge. A little more school, and subsequent internship, led to the career change which lead me to consulting. I have lived up and down the west coast, but I regularly criss cross the country for work.
